Charles Dickens: The Old Curiosity Shop Published By Chapman and Hall (The People’s Edition) Undated But Circa 1865-1867 Illustrated with 75 plates by Phiz……. (See Pictures)  

Condition Of Book: Hard Cover Bound in Half Green Leather over green cloth boards with five raised bands to the spine and with gilt title lettering to the 2nd and 3rd compartments to the spine.Vibrant marbled endpapers.Top edge of the book is in gilt.This copy has a strong firm binding that has NO loose leaves.There are NO previous names or inscriptions present.Complete with engraved frontispiece all in all there are a total of 75 illustrations by Phiz.There is some scuffing to the outer boards at extremities,mostly affecting the head and base of spine and also to the corners.Wear is present also to the top edge near head of spine.The Contents remain pretty clean throughout with only light spotting present to the fore-edge of the book.
