Condition Of Book: This is a Good Copy of this book in original blue cloth boards with gilt title lettering to spine.There is some wear and rubbing along the outer edges of the boards and with small stain mark to the front board,bevelled edges to the boards.There is some weakness present to the front and rear gutter hinge joins with some stitching showing through.There is one previous label to the front pastedown and one small address owner’s label to the front endpaper.There are a total of 70 illustrations and with 3 folding maps,2 at the end of the book with small tears.Top edge of the book is in gilt.Fascinating history and a comprehensive work.Slight spotting to pre-lims but internal contents remain in nice order.8vo {xvi} 361pp First Edition [1912]
