Condition Of Book and Dust-Jacket: This is a Very Good + Copy of this Hardcover book in publisher’s original red coloured cloth with vivid black title lettering to spine and the upper cover in a Good Only Dust-Jacket which has some rubbing and creasing apparent to the outer edges of the d/j and there are a few small nicks and chips to the d/j to head of spine,bottom edge of the lower cover and to the corners.There are a couple of previous tape repairs made to the underside of the wrapper to the head and tail of spine.This is a later issue dust-wrapper Circa 1939/1940 date with 22 titles listed on the inner flap and 18 titles listed to the other flap of the dust-wrapper.Not clipped to inner flap priced at 5/- net to spine in green.The book has one previous owner’s name to the front endpaper.The book has some spotting and dulling to the page edges.The text block is without any turned corners and there are NO loose pages etc.The book has a firm binding with no hinge weakness.A decent addition then to any Wodehouse collection.8vo 241pp (with 8 pag catalogue to rear of the book.This copy was obtained from an impressive private collection of significant works of fiction and collectable children’s books.
