Condition Of Book: Folio 12” by 9.5” Graded Good Minus Only in Quarter Burgundy Calf over Green boards with gilt title lettering to spine and their is one gilt moroccan plate to the upper cover also title lettered in gilt.There has been a repair to tear to spine and with scuffing present to head and tail of spines.This is the fourth edition greatly improved with a lithographed title page plus 96 plates some of which are landscapes drawn on stone by J.D. Harding.The outer boards are rubbed and marked with some damp staining/mottling to covers,with further water staining to the first two leaves of the book.There is some light sporadic foxing as you would expect.Corners bumped,extremities are a bit worn.Peter Frederick Robinson born in 1776 was a very successful architect in addition to being a prolific writer on architectural styles.A Vice President of the Institue For British Architects and as successful practitioner himself he is well regarded for his wonderful designs for the Egyptian Hall at Piccadilly and the Swiss Cottage in Regent’s Park.The book shows some obvious signs of wear.large folio with weight in excess of 3kg so please note the postage costs.Scarce title
