This is a Very Good Copy of this book in publisher’s original red cloth boards with gilt title lettering to spine and stamped in blind to the upper cover with gilt embossed design of a fishing scene to the front cover.Illustrated with 31 b&w plates of hunting,fishing and natural history scenes.This copy has no former owner’s names to the endpapers.Corners of the book are a little knocked.Contents remain clean internally with only a little light spotting to the page edges and with some browning/offsetting to the front endpaper.15 Chapters that include Golf at Colonsay,Bird Life in Colonsay,Norway and my first salmon in 1865 and much more.Fascinating tales of hunting and sporting adventures,8vo (xii) 274pp First Edition [1914]
