This is a Very Good Copy of this book in blue cloth with gilt title lettering to spine in a Very Good Dust-Jacket that has a little rubbing and wear along the outer edges of the dust-wrapper.Not Price clipped and this copy has one tiny and neat previous owner’s name to the top edge of one endpaper.Maps as endpapers.The book has a firm binding with NO hinge weakness.There is some spotting to the endpapers and along the fore-edge of the book.Uncommon title in original dust-jacket and in this condition.Walter Wilkinson wrote and had published a series of eight books about his travels with his puppet show in England and Scotland, Wales and America.He built a barrow which converted into the theatre which he would erect on village greens, in schools or wherever he could find an audience. He carried his tent on his barrow and spent the summers camping in the countryside. He was a popular author in the 1930s and 1940s, receiving positive reviews from the likes of D. H. Lawrence, J. B.
