This is a Very Good Copy of this book in blue/green cloth with black title lettering to spine in a Very good Dust-Jacket that has several small closed tears along the outer edges of the dust-wrapper.Price clipped and this copy has no former names present other than one small bookseller’s ticket to the lower edge of the front pastedown.Maps as endpapers.The book has a firm binding with NO hinge weakness.Uncommon title in original dust-jacket and especially in this condition with just a little light spotting to the text block edges.Walter Wilkinson wrote and had published a series of eight books about his travels with his puppet show in England and Scotland, Wales and America.He built a barrow which converted into the theatre which he would erect on village greens, in schools or wherever he could find an audience. He carried his tent on his barrow and spent the summers camping in the countryside. He was a popular author in the 1930s and 1940s, receiving positive reviews from the likes of D. H. Lawrence, J. B.
