Condition Of Book and Dust-Jacket: This is a Near Fine Copy of this book in yellow cloth with bright black title lettering to spine (book has one ex libris logo to the upper cover),in a Near Fine Dust-Jacket which has NO chips or tears to the outer edges of the dust-jacket,with only very light rubbing to the head and tail of spine.Price clipped and this copy has NO previous ownership inscriptions present.The book has a firm binding with no hinge weakness and there is no leaning ro rolling to spine.D/j is lovely clean and bright.The page edges remain crisp and bright with no internal markings etc.This copy was acquired from an impressive private collection of an elderly couple from Broxbourne in Hertfordshire.They had housed their collection of books bought mostly from the 1950’s in solid purpose made closing bookcases which has preserved the condition of the books magnificently.As a result the condition of this title is superb.Illustrated with over 30 b&w plates.Scarce title particularly in this condition,8vo 212pp First Edition 1st Impression [1953]
