Condition Of Books: 


Very Good + Set of some 16 Volumes in total.Really good Condition other than Volume 8 which has some dulling to the gilt lettering along spine.Contents remain generally clean with only light spotting to the text block edges of some of the volumes.Binding of the books are in standard brown cloth with vibrant gilt titles to spine and with ‘Grouse’ decoration to the tail of the spines.All books have firm bindings with NO loose leaves. etc.The 16 Volumes are Volumes 1-10 beginning with Volume 1 June 1907-May 1908 and Volumes 13 through to Volume 17 June 1923 – May 1924 plus there is an Individual handlist Volume dated 1912.There are five volumes which have a neat previous owner’s name to the front endpapers.Edited By Witherby with some assistance from Others.Profusely illustrated throughout of British Birds in their natural habitat,with notes and reviews and there are some distribution maps.A great collection for the bird enthusiast and seldom acquired in such pleasing condition.Due to the weight and issues with Carriage This lot is for Collection Only.
