Condition and Status of the Book 

This is a Near Fine Copy in light tan flexi boards with Crest of Duke of Wellingto the upper cover.This is a book that features Craven’s Roll of Honour with photographs of deceased soldiers from the town of mostly Skipton in Yorkshire.The endpaper has a presentation certificate awarded to a Mr Brooks as a momento of his having served his Majesty’s Forces during the War of 1914-1919.Additionally there is a rather charming ‘Army Pay Office Form’ of the Separation Allowance and Allotment of Pay Award (BN Training Reserve) to Mr Brooks who resided in Barnoldswick at Lower East Avenue.The book was Produced and paid For by Walter Morrison JP of Malham Tarn.Published in Landscape Format.Fascinating work in very nice order,contents are clean and well illustrated with pics of our fallen hero’s,4to 390pp First Edition [1919]
