Condition and Status of the Book and Dust-Wrapper:

This is a Near Fine Copy of this hardcover Book in original beautiful pictorial boards with it’s scarce original dust-jacket that has a rectangle window allowing the upper board’s illustration to be seen through the wrapper.With floral patterned endpapers that have some faint tape remnant marks and with a couple of closed tears to the edges of the front cover window.There are no previous nanes or inscriptions present.Slight offsetting to the endpapers.The dust-jacket had been very carefully protected in an acetate cover sleeve thus preserving the fragile dust-jacket from wear over time,not clipped to the front flap with price showing of 1/6 net to the front cover.Some of the famous poets that feature in this work include Keats,Wordsworth,Shelley,Tennyson,Chaucer,Browning and Matthew Arnold.Beautifully illustrated by Tarrant with 3 full page coloured plates.The book’s contents remain in very clean condition with NO turned corners to the pages and they remain fresh and vibrant.Measures 17cm by 13cm.A great collector’s item as it’s so very rare to find this title with it’s dust-jacket present and this well preserved.Small 8vo 93pp First Edition [1910]
