This is a Very Good Copy of this Book in red cloth with black title lettering to spine in a Good Dust-Jacket that has approx a 1.5cm chip to the head of spine and one small 4mm closed tear along the top edge of the front cover.Not clipped to the front flap with price of 2/- showing to the spine of the dust-wrapper.Bright crimson red endpapers.This copy has NO previous names or inscriptions present.The book has a firm binding with no hinge weakness and there is no leaning to spine.One small faded patch to the bottom right corner of the book.Top edge of the book is stained red other page edges are a little foxed with some age toning.Author’s first spy story and an uncommon title.8vo 320pp First Edition 2nd Impression [1939]
