Condition and Status of The Book: 

This is a Very Good Copy of this book in purple coloured cloth boards with now some fading to the colour tone of the outer boards.With gilt title lettering and embossed design to the spine and with gilt design also to the front cover with further embossed decorations to both covers in blind.There is one neat previous owner’s name to the blank front endpaper and dated 1865.Complete and collated with 60 coloured and wonderful tissue guarded plates with many more black and white illustrations of plants also.Slight chafing to the head of spine and corners a touch knocked,lovely and clean internally with coloured frontispiece creased around it’s edges.Light spotting to the title page.All in all a very nice example of this work with no loose pages and with the plates in lovely clean vibrant condition.The work includes an extended catalogue of Plants assisted by W Howard.All plates with accompanying text and and the native Country or area from which it’s derived.8vo 144pp [1865]
