This is a Very Good + Copy of this Book in Publisher’s original red cloth with gilt title lettering to spine and lettered in gilt to the upper cover within a floral gilt design.Top edge of the book is stained red as issued.The rare dust-jacket is graded only Fair with tape strengthening along both the top and bottom edges of the wrapper,with remnant marks to the front and rear flaps also.Not price clipped (3/6 net showing to the front flap.There is some browning.age toning and spotting to the dust-jacket to front and back.The book has a firm binding with no loose pages.There are no former inscriptions or names present.There is some age toning to the text block edges,to be expected but the toning does not penetrate into the book itself.The dust-jacket comes well protected in a brodart type cover sleeve.The illustrations are by the Author herself,8vo 310pp (2pp of ads) to rear First UK Edition 1st Impression [1928]
