This is a Near Fine Copy of this hardcover Book in original beautiful pictorial boards with it’s scarce original dust-jacket that has a rectangle window allowing the upper board’s illustration to be seen through the wrapper.With floral patterned endpapers and there are no previous nanmes or inscriptions present.The dust-jacket had been very carefully protected in an acetate cover sleeve thus preserving the dust-jacket from wear over time,just one or two minor tape remnant marks apparent to the rear endpapers,not clipped to the front flap with price showing of 1/6 net to the front cover.Some of the famous poets that feature in this work include Keats,Shelley,Browning,Tennyson,Hood,Spenser,Wordsowth and Landor.Beautifully illustrated by Tarrant with 3 full page coloured plates.The book’s contents remain in very clean condition with NO turned corners to the pages and they remain fresh and vibrant.Measures 17cm by 13cm.A great collector’s item as it’s so very rare to find this title in thias condition and with it’s dust-jacket present.Small 8vo 94pp First Edition [1910]
