(See Pictures)Condition Of Book: This is a Very Good + Copy of this book in Publisher’s original elaborately decorated red hardcover cloth boards with gilt title lettering to spine.The book has black endpapers and is complete with half title page,frontispiece and engraved title page.This copy has one previous inscription present to the verso of the half title page and is dated 1896.The book has a very firm binding with no hinge weakness,with no cracking to joins.There is a little darkening to the colour tone along spine but this is not unusual.All page edges are gilt lined.The book’s contents remain reasionably clean apart from some sporadic browning spots/foxing to certain pages within the text block.Profusely illustrated with many black and white engraved plates and woodcuts by H.J.
