Howard Winstone: Howard Winstone MBE was a Welsh world champion boxer who was born in Merthyr Tydfil Wales. As an amateur, Winstone won the Amateur Boxing Association bantamweight title in 1958, and also a Commonwealth Games Gold Medal .
