Condition Of Book: This is a Good Only Copy of this book in half maroon calf over maroon cloth boards with gilt lettering to spine and with five raised bands to spine each comp gilt lined.Outer boards are marked and worn with some evidence of water staining to the top edge of the first 8-10 pages.Contents are for the year of 1866 Jan-Dec profusely illustrated throughout with 12 large folding hand coloured plates and many fashion ideas and practical drawings on stitch work and embroidery etc plus articles on music scores,lots of poetry and literature,gossip, patterns, fashions.Marbled endpapers.There are no previous names or inscriptions present but with one pink number to the front endpaper.page edges are tanned with a few leaves with smudge marks to margins etc.Binding is firm with no loose leaves,light cracking to the front and rear gutter hinge joins are noted.Comprehensive work measures 9.5” by 6” and over 2.3” thick heavy at over 2kg in weight.
