This is a very good copy of this book in Publisher’s green hardback with gilt titles to the front cover.There is one previous owner’s bookplate of Emmeline Garnett from Yorkshire and who has I believe written a couple of book and for some time worked for the BBC.This is a Handbook of Rules of the Society.John O;Gaunts Bowmen is one of the oldest Archery Clubs in the UK being reformed in 1788,very much a club for the wealthy in it’s first 100 years but it now provides training for anyone interested in the Sport.It has produced many British Champions and the Club has been shooting at the Vale of Lune’s Headquarters for the past 40 years.Contents remain clean,slight stitching showing at the front gutter hinge join.Total of 37pp,12mo 1901 Edition and a Rare Item for the collector.
