Director: Madame Celeste  Title: The Green Bushes and St George and the DragonPublication:  Published Theatrical Poster/Playbill by D’Amaine and Co Soho Square London Circa 1845……………(See Pictures) Condition Of Playbill or Poster: Measures 20” by 12” 1845 Old Playbill or Billboard Notice Advertising ‘The Green Bushes ‘ or A Hundred Years Ago With Overture and Music on the other side is advertised as the Header is St George and The Dragon.Date Circa 1847.Produced using thick black typeefaces on wafer thin paper.There are some nicks and tears to edges.Larger chip to top of the playbill obscuring some of the letters within heading.Large playbills or advertising billboard posters are notoriously delicate and hence few survive the onslaught of time.This still shows well.Scarce Circa 1845 With a Price of a box at 4s,pit at 2s and 1s to sit in the Gallery………….Rare piece of Theatrical History set in London’s West End……….Would Look Great in a Frame and HungWe are members of the P.B.F.A.
