Condition Of Book and Dust-Jacket: This is a Fine Copy of this Book in red cloth with gilt title lettering along spine,in a Very Good + Dust-Jacket that has just one tiny abrasion and tear to the bottom right corner of the front cover.The dust-jacket has a protective laminate cover applied at some stage during it’s life history.Not Price clipped and this copy has laid in an advertising card from Post Mortem Books stating that just 10 copies of this title were specially signed by the Author on August 1st 1983 with this copy being number 4.One assumes that the bookshop had an arrangement with the Author at the time.This copy has a firm binding with no hinge weakness.In all a very decent clean copy in collectible condition by this highly sought after crime writer and certainly uncommon with the limited nature of the signing by Aird present,8vo 189pp First Edition 1st Printing [1982]
