Condition Of Book: This is a Very Good Copy of this book in a handsome half brown calf leather binding over marbled boards with black moroccan title label to spine lettered in black and with further embossed designs to the other compartments along the spine.The book has new clean brown tan endpapers at the front of the book.There are NO previous owner’s names or inscriptions present.The work has several attractive coloured plates with various examples of textiles displayed.It’s chiefly a book containing stories,articles and focuses on needlework,crochet,Knitting and trends in new fashions.The book has a firm binding with no hinge weakness,with no leaning or rolling to spine,all page gatherings are tight with no loose leaves etc.There is as you would expect some foxing and browning to the page edges with some foxing spots to the pre-lims and also internally.Alongside the coloured plates are numerous b&w engravings most of which are wrapped around the text,8vo [viii] 376pp First Edition 1861
